Were you aware that every year there is 'Library Week'. This year it starts on Monday 3rd October until Friday 7th October.
Peter Rabbit is the theme of our week, not only for the young but for all ages, as we are sure that everybody has read at least one of the books that was written about him. He first appeared in a Beatrix Potter book in 1902 making him 120 years old. Many more books were to follow featuring not only Peter Rabbit but other characters such as Benjamin Bunny, Jemima Puddleduck and others.
To celebrate his Birthday we will have an activity table out each day where you can make a 'Peter Rabbit', complete word searches, colour in pictures and much more.
Come along and have you photo taken in our photo booth and post it on Social media to advertise the library and Library week'.
