May Bank Holiday Closures
Please note the library will be closed on Monday 6th May and 27th May.
Also please note there will be no library services on 11th May due to our May Fair being held on this date.
1st Saturday of the Month Coffee Morning, 10am to 1pm
We have our 1st Saturday of the Month Coffee Morning on the 4th May for our usual homemade cakes on offer to go with the beverage of your choice.
We look forward to seeing you from 10am to 1pm.
May Fair & Plant Sale – 11th May, 11am to 2pm
Come and join us at our May Fair & Plant Sale on Saturday 11th May. We have a great selection of stallholders joining us from, Cards, Face Painting, amazing Hand Made Craft items to Samosas and Cakes, our Tombola stall and much more. Refreshments will be available to purchase on the day so come and see what is on offer then relax with a drink.

Quiz Night – 7th June, 7pm for 7.30pm start
Following the success of our Quiz Night on the 22nd March we are now holding another one in June. Darren the Quizmaster has already set the questions and is looking forward to hosting the evening.
Tickets will be available to purchase from the beginning of May at the cost of £7.50 which includes a light supper.
Book Club
Would you like to join our Book Club? They meet every 4th Thursday of the month at 6.30pm to 8pm. The cost is £2.50 which includes a drink.

Voluntary Treasurer Position
Due to our Treasurer retiring we are now looking for a new Treasurer to take on this position. If you are an accountant and have recently retired or know of anyone who might be interested, please email leicesterforesteastcommlibrary@gmail.com for details of what this entails.
Charity Bingo Night – 16th August, 7pm for 7.30pm start
A great night was had by all at our Charity Bingo Night on the 19th April so we have planned another one for the 16th August.
The cost of the bingo tickets is just £6.00 for 2 x 6 games, with the prize money of £2.00 per line and £10.00 per house. We do serve snacks and drinks on the night but you are welcome to bring your own.
Make a note in your diary to join us for a Fun evening of bingo.

As a volunteer run library we appreciate you all for supporting the library, whether it be purchasing drinks and snacks, taking out books, taking part in our groups or just popping in to meet friends. This all helps to keep the library open!
