Upcoming Events
Friday 21st March – Charity Bingo Night, 7pm for 7.30pm start - £6.00 for 2 x Tickets
Join us for our first event of the year for an evening of Bingo and socialising.
The prize money is £2.00 for a line and £10.00 for a full house.
Tickets on sale in the library now!
Friday 11th April – Fun Quiz Night, 7pm for 7.30pm start - £7.50 per person
As usual the price of the tickets will include a light supper and there will be a prize for the winning team.
Details on when the tickets will go on sale will be on Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor, as well as in the library.
Saturday 3rd May – May Fair & Plant Sale – 11am to 2pm
Our first fair of 2025 will also include a Plant sale and we will have stalls inside and outside. The library will be having a pre-loved book and jigsaw sale as well as a Tombola and refreshments will be available to purchase.

Hiring the Library
Did you know that you can hire the library for your own events, whether this may be for a regular group, special date, such as a Birthday or Anniversary, etc.

Raising funds for the library.
As a voluntary run community library all the proceeds from our events go towards the expenses that the library incurs and your continued support at these events is appreciated.
Did you know that if you shop online and go to easyfundraising, search for Leicester Forest East Community Library and sign up, every time you make a purchase the library will receive a donation without any cost to yourself. So next time you shop for say, a holiday or anything from maybe Argos, Currys, M&S and many more you can help the library out.
Volunteer / Trustee
Have you ever thought about volunteering? Would you be interested in joining our lovely team of volunteers and making new friends?
Go to our website www.lfelibrary.org and complete the application form under the heading ‘Volunteer For Us’ and our volunteer co-ordinator will get in touch. Alternatively ask one of our volunteers for a form.
We are also looking for some new Trustees to join us. If you would be interested in becoming a Trustee and helping to manage and run the library, please email us.
